The Dragonflight is recruiting new members for various WOTLK PvE content (it's not that we don't like anyone below level 70, but you'll have a hard time finding a guild group to level up with below that). In the interests of full disclosure, we had some interpersonal issues while we were running T5 and T6 instances, and many members have gone elsewhere. Some of them, we'd be more than happy to have return. Others, not so much. But regardless, we still retain a small group of experienced and affable raiders.
What we are:
As a group, friendly and mature. Varying levels of gregariousness, but still friendly.
Reciprocating. Willing to help out anyone who's willing to help out others.
Working our way through 10-man Naxxramas (whoo for us!).
Deliberate, paced, and patient. If we see 25-person raid content, we won't do a forced march. And wipes will inevitably happen as new groups adjust to each other, the content, and general game randomness.
RP-friendly. Not everyone roleplays, but nobody interferes with those who do. And the roleplayers don't interfere with those who don't roleplay.
What we are not:
A direct democracy. We're not closed off to new ideas and strategies, but raid and guild leadership is expected to draw some lines and make some decisions to keep things moving in some semblance of order.
Short on officers. Got plenty of them already.
Driven by one person's desires/needs. See "direct democracy" and "reciprocating" above.
What we're not looking for:
The unsocialized. If you can't make it through a game session without using the words "gay", "rape", racial/ethnic/sexist slurs, or other similar terms, don't bother applying. If your immediate and personal enjoyment of your subscription fee is your overwhelming reason for doing anything, and never mind what anybody else thinks about your tactics or behavior, don't bother applying.
The impatient. We are in a rebuilding phase. Our membership is spread across three continents. And it's not large by any standard. The remaining core group has a lot of raid experience, but our return to any given instance is dependent on fielding a viable raid force for it. If you come in expecting to raid immediately and often, you'll be disappointed.
The chronically dependent. If you complain that nobody ever runs an instance you need, but never put up a GEM event yourself for that instance, we're not going to be too sympathetic to your complaints.
The unwilling to learn. We don't expect you to know everything about your class, a particular raid instance, etc. We do expect you to be willing to read and research builds, tactics, and standard practices. If you've heard of "assisting", but consider it optional, apply elsewhere.
What we are looking for:
Possibly you, assuming you've not already run away screaming or burst out in derisive laughter from reading the above.
